Dr. Pamela Hopkins
Dr. Pamela Hopkins, Center for Communication Excellence, graduated from Clemson University with a BA in English and a minor in Communications. She also holds an MA in Speech Communications from Penn State, and a PhD in Technical and Professional Discourse from ECU. Dr. Hopkins teaches both online and face-to-face classes in Public Speaking and Fundamentals of Speech Communication. She is passionate about the importance of verbal communication, and enjoys working with students, faculty members and staff as they improve all aspects of their public speaking and presentation skills.

Cameron Canupp
Cameron Canupp is an Assistant Director in the Center for Communication Excellence here at East Carolina University. Cameron is currently a graduate student in the School of Communication, studying strategic communication at ECU. As an undergraduate, he studied English with a concentration in literary studies. Cameron is thrilled to have the opportunity to continue his educational journey while being able to assist students and faculty with their professional communication needs. His goal is to interact with students to build communication practices in a safe and friendly environment.

Grace Ippolito
Grace Ippolito is an Assistant Director in the Center for Communication Excellence this semester! Grace graduated from Canisius College with a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Marketing and Communication. She is currently in her second semester as a strategic communication graduate student in the School of Communication. Grace is ecstatic to be part of the Center for Communication Excellence! She has worked in higher education for two years and plans to continue working as an effective, benevolent, and excellent resource for students. Her goal is to make the Center a safe space for students to learn, grow, and become more professional communicators.
