SOC Director Dr. Linda Kean receives International Teaching Award from the Office of Global Affairs.

Congratulations to our director, Dr. Linda Kean, for receiving the International Teaching Award from the Office of Global Affairs at their International Education Week Award ceremony last night.

Dr. Kean strives to incorporate and promote global studies throughout the School of Communication. We are proud she was recognized for her hard work.

Whether it is through multiple faculty-led summer study abroad trips, hosting faculty from Krosno State College in Poland to teach intercultural communication, inviting visiting scholars from South Korea, encouraging our faculty to teach abroad in Poland and China, or hunting down international internships for our students, global studies is at the forefront of learning in the School of Communication.
